Details

We coordinate projects, events and activities undertaken by members of the LMEN. Projects have included:

- Exploring the ‘Life on the Edge’ theme with members and offering workshops to a group undertaking the John Muir Award and students from the University of Cumbria;

- A ‘Something Old, Something New’ inter-generational project highlighting South Lakeland’s textile heritage. Delivered in partnership with Kendal College, Age UK and a community artist;

- A 'World War Week' project, which saw numerous World War themed events taking place in Kendal. This project reached over 200 learners.

Undertaking this role has helped add capacity and value to the learning offer of the members of the network.
