Desk-based Assessment and Walkover Survey, Cumbria
In advance of a major development we completed a documentary research programme to assess the archaeological resource. Historic research was supplemented by a Walkover Survey, using a combination of GPS technology and photography to identify and catalogue archaeological resources within a study area. The project also included the production of a Gazetteer and Statements of Archaeological Significance for all of the resources identified.

Archaeological Building Recording, Lancashire
An historic barn building was recorded using Medium Format photography and a range of illustrative techniques. Maps were examined to provide a historic context for the buildings. |

A series of trenches allowed investigation of the history of a farmyard in advance of redevelopment. The work uncovered the footprint of a former farm building and associated animal remains. |

Earthwork Survey in Staffordshire. Using powerful GPS technology a water meadow system on the River Trent in Staffordshire has been surveyed. The data from the survey is currently being processed in order to produce highly accurate, detailed plans of the earthworks and other features.
